LeBron James


Lebron James is a NBA MVP who currently plays for the Miami. He was the number one draft pick in 2003 for the Cleveland Cavaliers. He has endorsements deals with NIKE, Sprite, Vitamin Water, Bubblicious, McDonalds, and State Farm. Sports critics are calling him the KING of basketball. He is currently the most recognizable figure and sports. Many sports critics say he is the best basketball player. He has stated in saying he wants to be the first athlete that is worth a billion dollars. He started using Twitter back in June of 2010. He chooses Twitter before he made his major decision about what NBA Franchise he would play for next in his career. He also has a blog and Facebook page and he has numerous videos on YouTube.

Lebron on Twitter


LeBron James just recently joins the Twitter nation. He join Twitter on June 6, 2010. This was during summer when he was making a decision that would change the landscape of the NBA. It was confirm when fellow NBA star and Twitter user Chris Paul Twitted on his page about LeBron having his own personal page. “Couldn't convince him to tell me which team he's goin to but convinced him to join twitter lol ... my brother from another mother @kingjames” Chris Paul Wrote on his Twitter page. At 4:20 pm wrote his first message on Twitter, "Hello World, the Real King James is in the Building 'Finally'. My Brother @oneandonlycp3 gas'd me up to jump on board so I'm here. Haaaa."

After starting his Twitter account he received 200,000 followers the first day, but he surpass 150,000 after seven hours of starting his account. LeBron received more followers than Bill Gates in the same period of time. He currently has over a million followers. The NBA payed Twitter to have LeBron James name a promoted Tweet. Lebron James uses Twitter to show that he is a normal person instead of the "KING" of basketball. He talks about things a average person would talk about on their Twitter page.

After LeBron James decied to leave the Cleveland Cavaliers and sign with the Miami Heat many different celebrities Tweeted about his decision on their Twitter pages. Also after his new Nike commerical debuted it also received many Tweets and responses.


Racist Tweets

LeBron James does not always receive praises on his Twitter page, but he also receives racial Tweets on his page.


Facebook and Blog

LeBron James also has a Facebook page that gives fans a play to discuss different topics about him. Lebron uses Facebook to show different videos and pictures. He has information about his shoes, games, and upcoming events. Facebook also have a LeBron James layout that a Facebook user can use on their own page. He also has a section that leads to his website. It isn't all love for LeBron James on Facebook, there was an article about how LeBron James page should look since his national televised "Decision" on ESPN last June. The blog about LeBron James gives the lastest information about LeBron. There were live blogs on June 8th when LeBron James made his decision to join the Miami Heat.

The Future.

The future is bright for LeBron since he is only 25 and he already accomplish plenty in the NBA and corporate America. If he ever wins a NBA championship his wealth and global figure will increase since he will be a winner and its easier to market your brand if your a proving winner. If he continues to stay away from trouble and win more MVPs with championships he will become the richest athlete ever with his endosement deals and NBA salary.
